It's one of my absolutely favourite museums (and I really love shiny things)! You could then wander in the Tuileries to chat about the exhibition and life, and people watch, and then have supper at Le Trumilou.

Or if it's nice you could just spend time outside in one of the parks. I liked all the suggestions above, but if you're looking for something kind of off the beaten path, I really enjoyed the Paris catacombs. I think I'd pick up some crepes, cheeses, fruit, macarons, and coffee and find a place to sit and have a fabulous view of the entire city...eat, enjoy the scenery, and just relish in adult conversation. There is nothing better for the soul than a girlfriend who can listen to your heart! ENJOY your special day and eat something amazing! Or just stroll around and get lost in the city with no plans. Your days are spent showing students all the highlights...just enjoy wandering and perhaps stumbling upon something new. Have a wonderful day! You deserve it!
