Gearing up to potentially be in London in mid-March (along with Paris), but was really surprised to see how pricey hotels are for that time of the year, still! Any additional recommendations you might have that are not listed here? Most 'decent' AirBnb rentals are still $175+.

Thanks,
AmandaAmanda Schaumburgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02594492916895205265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3648266294703204304.post-7684499988139865422013-09-30T20:10:33.999+01:002013-09-30T20:10:33.999+01:00Thanks so much for sharing your favorites. I've already done all the usual sites so I don't need to do anything in particular but I'd like to have a few baby friendly go to options other than the park.Mrs. Limestonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06159249562273770481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3648266294703204304.post-7697709536817700512013-05-21T17:48:24.240+01:002013-05-21T17:48:24.240+01:00I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! I am from the UK but have been living in California for the past 6 years, the last location I lived in the UK was London, so this was a HUGE walk down memory lane for me! We share some of the same favorite places, I love the Tate Modern, its cafe and the walk along the river from Borough Market to Westminster.....this is hands down my favorite free thing to do in London! If you haven't been to Borough Market yet it is a must for a fellow Foodie!!
I love Afternoon Tea at Fortnum & Mason - everyone should do this at least once in their life!
I love the quirkiness of Camden Market, and it serves some excellent food!
I love Primark.....you just cannot beat their prices, especially for jewelry!
This summer I get to take my husband 'home' to the UK for the first time so this gave me some great tips for our whirlwind tour!
Great to find you and now I will be an avid follower!
Ruth Cataldo
http://www.cataldolife.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12842886933689168365noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3648266294703204304.post-15268300704891167942013-05-20T22:00:21.938+01:002013-05-20T22:00:21.938+01:00So, I stumbled upon your blog when searching for U...So, I stumbled upon your blog when searching for UK travel blogs...my husband and I are here for two weeks (one week down, one to go) and so far have enjoyed some of your suggestions (Clarinda's in Edinburgh & Apple Pie in Ambleside).
We didn't really plan to spend any time in London though our plans have changed a tad and we're thinking of taking the train in from a Heathrow hotel our last day for a whirlwind dinner and quick walk around if possible. Wondering if you have any suggestions on Indian food in the city? We'll probably do some online searching ourselves too but since we've enjoyed your suggestions thus far, I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask! Thanks :)
-Lexie (via my husband's account)Lexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13329660112027835227noreply@blogger.com
