Black Swan
hasn't come out yet in the UK...
hasn't come out yet in the UK...
and the anticipation is killing me.
Killing me.
Everything is reminding me of the fact that
I haven't seen it yet.
channeling my goth side... how'd i do? :) |
What did you think of Black Swan?
Haven't seen it yet, but everyone I know who has has the same reaction - it was amazing and disturbing. Natalie Portman just won the Golden Globe for best actress, so she must have been incredible in the role.
ReplyDeletehahaha. This post is hilarious. It was disturbing but also great. Natalie Portman is just great.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing, Natalie is amazing (loved her acceptance last night) It is disturbing but in a beautiful artsy way, and it stays true to Swan Lake which I LOVE!
ReplyDeleteStill hasn't come out down here in Panama either!! I've got to go see it.
ReplyDeleteYou look like a cute goth (:
FREAKY & DISTURBING. Haha.
ReplyDeleteit is amazing. It's dark and twisted and wonderful all at the same time!
ReplyDeleteLove this ;) Oh the Timorous Beasties....
ReplyDeleteI liked the film and I'm not usually huge on psycho-thriller fodder.
But it was different and I really enjoyed the set design, costumes and gorgeous dance numbers.
Methinks you'll dig it.
Cheers, Alcira

I have heard so much about it, i can't wait to see it!!
ReplyDeleteWhat I've heard echoes JMW - incredible but disturbing. I still am dying to see it along with several other new films - King's Speech, The Fighter etc. Love your dark inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteI saw it yesterday afternoon...so worth the hype!!
ReplyDeleteBlack Swan was amazing- keeps you on your toes, gorgeous dancing, Natalie Portman is incredible... it's great!
ReplyDeletePS. I'm feeling dark today too- just painted my dining room navy blue! Very dark!!
is amazing. AMAZING. it's freaky and dark and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it either but I just got chill bumps watching the trailer, a must see!
ReplyDeleteGood morning from Tokyo!
ReplyDeleteI suppose we should have seen it while we were in Oxford, but we were a little too caught up in the eating and shopping in our little southern town! When it arrives in Tokyo the girls and I will certainly catch it.
It looks so thrilling and seductive! I just hope it doesn't mess with me too much. My love for the ballet world may help me overcome it if it does, though.
A lovely day to you and yours...
Warmly,
Elizabeth
amazing and oscar worthy! hope you get to see it soon!
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen it yet...as we love to watch our movies at home. Puts us a little behind everyone else, but you can't beat the atmosphere!
ReplyDeleteI've heard she was amazing and the movie is disturbing! She was adorable at the Golden Globes last night.
Loving your pics - I've never seen the dark side of Laduree!
xo Elizabeth
I really enjoyed the movie, but the plot was a bit predictable. The visual aspects of the movie (cinematography, costumes, choreography) were stunning!
ReplyDeleteI think Natalie Portman should win the Oscar for her performance. I read in Vogue that her training schedule for the movie was super intense.
Hopefully you get to see it soon.

It's so amazing. Dark and beautiful at the same, much like the world of ballet. The way it portrays the stresses of the world of a principle dancer is insanely spot on. I can't wait for Natalie to take the oscar home she deserves it!
ReplyDeleteGet ready lady because it is as A-MA-ZING as everyone says it is!
ReplyDeleteChilling but brilliant.... definitely not a 'feel good flick' but I loved it.
ReplyDeleteHope you get to see it soon. oxo
It's not playing in Asia either! But you know a certain husband is getting dragged to see this when it comes out...
ReplyDeleteI am dying to see it as well, i've heard so many different things - enjoy your day, I am loving this blog! just beautifully done, too! - xxoo
ReplyDeleteI freaking loved it!! the final scene when she sprouted feathers...the hair all over my body stood on end...amazing!
ReplyDeletemy hubby is a therapist, so he was diagnosing her the entire movie! :)
Black Swan looks so freaky but I really want to see it!
