Aquatic Performance


There isn't a cloud in the sky today.

But brr... it is cold!

If the weather can pretend to be in the mood for spring,
gosh darn it- so will I.

I've been looking up places for an April getaway.

Some place exotic.
Some place warm.
Some place surrounded by crystal waters.
Some place we have never been.
Some place that isn't in political unrest....


Which is actually a bit harder to find than you'd imagine.

Until I find that place...
 I'm going on a little retail vacation of my own.

    Hey Lauren, I think you should drop on down to Capri !!! Or if you are really wanting to go somewhere amazing, try the Canary Islands off the coast of Morocco :)

    Cape Town - of course - (not very exotic for me since it's home) but its beautiful, the views are breathtaking, beaches are blissful, vineyards - well they're vineyards what more do I need to say, the weather is fab and the food is amazing.

    I don't know how to reply via my e-mail, so i guess I'll just comment here again :) I haven't been to the other places you are thinking about but I know my families next dive trip is going to be to Bali in Indonesia, it has been on my mom's list forever!!! Plus hello, Julia Roberts loves it :) That would be my pick followed by the seychelles!

    just loving the color and all the fun items you picked! morocco sounds dreamy, i've always wanted to go there :) i suppose somewhere in the caribbean would be a good substitute though!

    I would love to go back to a house on the beach in St. Maarten that had for a week about five years ago. It was gorgeous and SO relaxing!

    My husband and I went to Nice about 5 years ago and it was lovely. I wouldn't say it was my favorite place, but if you haven't been there, it is worth a few days stay.
    Of course, a European cruise of some sort sounds amazing!

    Well, I would've suggested the coast of Egypt but apparently you're not in the mood for political unrest :) I don't know if you've been to Greece but the turquoise immediately made me think of it! And its a place I've always wanted to go so I could live vicariously through the blog.

    I would definitely suggest Greece -- specifically, Santorini. My bestie went there for two weeks last summer & now I am trying to plan a trip there! It looks so stunning (and scorching, if you go during the summer.)
