Monday Moods: I feel... louvrely.

I'm coming home from a weekend in Paris
where the hub has been playing basketball
in the European MBA Olympics.

{Is that hilarious? Yeah, I agree.}

So while he was busy sweating it out
against Cambridge, INSEAD, & London School of Economics...

I got cozy with
Caravaggio, Velazaquez, & Delacroix.

But the most inspiring point of my day?

Walking out of the Louvre
 to a scoop of pistachio from an ice cream cart
and a sunny nap in the Tuileries.

  3. Sounds perfect. We had the hardest time trying to find our way out of the Louvre... no matter how hard we tried we kept ending up at the mummies... darn jet lag! xo

  9. Oh my goodness! You have such an amazing life. And you downplay it so humbly. I love that about you. And I wish I was you. So wonderful!

  10. I would love to go back to the Louvre and spend more time. We only had a half a day and really didn't get to see everything!

  11. I am so jealous...the last time we were there (last year) after I dragged my poor family that was practically crawling out of the Louvre after 8 looong hours, I was still going strong and I vowed that I would get back ALONE on my own to pursue it all to my hearts content, I just cant' seem to get enough...and though my family loves and appreciate the art, history and culture they are perfectly content with a 3 hour crash course and calling it a day by hitting the nearest cool restaurant or better yet taking an afternoon siesta...lol. Your afternoon sounds like MY perfect afternoon.
