Taxi Cab Confessions: Paris Edition

I know, I know...
all this hype about moving to Paris
and then nothing but radio silence since I left.

C'est incroyable.

As much as I like to think this spring is all about
me frolicking down the Seine at my leisure
with a mille feuille in one hand
& a painfully heavy Chanel bag in the other...
the truth is...
I actually do have to work.

And work have I been doing!

All the little things that take forever when you move somewhere...
{but take infinity longer when you are in France}
cell phones, transit cards, bank accounts, tenancy issues.

Les plaisirs de France.

As I've been jutting around this gorgeous city
schlepping giant bags & newly acquired items like desktop printers,
it's been mainly in the back of a cab.

I've seen the Eiffel Tower about 16 times... through a car window.
I've idled along Ile St. Louis... in traffic.

While a taxi is the least romantic way to experience Paris, fear not:
I'll have plenty of time to strut this city this spring.

So while I'm out today
going back to the phone store on the Champs-Elysees
and heading to an Apple appointment at the Louvre...

Why don't you join me?

We're about to start planning our next trip. It's most likely going to be to Italy, but if it ends up being just the two of us we may go to Paris instead. I will definitely be hitting up up for recommendations either way! Hope that's ok. :)
