GOING TO LONDON FOR THE LONG WEEKEND
PROS
I get to be in England. My favorite place.
I get to go to Oxford, eat at The Eagle & Child, and have a MooMoo's milkshake.
I have a 0.06512 chance of bumping into Kate Middleton.
I get to try on my new glasses while I'm there.
I get to see Billy Elliot in London & The Tempest in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
I get to see Tyler after being apart for 5 days.
CONS
I have to pack up our place here and it makes me feel like a hoarder.
I have to pack up my clothes into 2 tiny suitcases and it makes me feel like a hoarder.
I have to pack up all my gummy candy from Germany for 5 whole days and it makes me feel sad.
Yes, I agree.
The good definitely outweighs the bad!
I am England bound tomorrow for a long weekend
of sight-seeing, catching up with friends,
and to recharge my soul a little
with some familiar faces & places.

LOVE the eagle & child.
ReplyDeleteOh man this makes me miss Oxford. I would do pretty much anything for a MooMoo's milkshake right now. Throw in fish and chips from King's Arms and I would be in heaven. Have a great trip!
ReplyDeleteWay more pros than cons!! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteHeres hoping you DO bump into Duchess Kate.
ReplyDeleteWhy do places in England have so much cooler names than here? Eagle and Child, really? Drunken Monkey?
come for a walk in the park with me - kate's my new neighbour! saw her arriving by helicopter last week (well it could have been her waitrose grocery delivery) and we think we saw her arriving with an armed escort this afternoon...its positively happening here in the park! Have a moomoos for me...have fun x
ReplyDeletePacking up? Are you done in Paris or just moving apartments? Have safe travels! xoxo
ReplyDeleteaw have fun! Packing is the worst. It's like God's idea of a cruel joke, I swear. Hah.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend trip! I'm starting to wish i lived in a European city myself.

Mmm. Moo Moo's. Pretty sure Moo Moo's and Ben's are responsible for these five lbs that have stubbornly settled onto my tush for the past year. Totally worth it, though.
ReplyDeleteHave so much fun, you hoarder! Those tea bags cracked me up because there was a sign in the bathroom of the Scottish bed and breakfast I stayed at that said "Please do not flush tea bags in the toilet." I was like, "Who does that?!" Please don't tell me people do that.
ReplyDeleteHave so much fun with your man. I bet all your London friends miss you terribly.
I love the way you think, the good and the bad....but I am pretty sure you hoard lots of the good and nothing bad.
ReplyDeleteJolly and safe journey back to your old London town hood.

I'm so envious that you get to country hop! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteInsert jealous sigh here. I would kill to be back in Oxford for a spring/summer day at the bird and baby! Or the trout...or really anywhere there!
ReplyDeleteSay hi to England for me! Miss you, girl!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a marvelous time, as I am reading this on Sunday evening. And I have to agree with Patricia - I'm betting there's more good in your hoarding as well!!
