I know, I know...
it is awful to be back in the office
after having a three-day weekend.
It's super depressing to go immediately from a weekend of celebrating summer
to an office where you are reminded:
actually, summer doesn't really exist count for people with 9-5 jobs.
In light of the harsh downshift
you are most definitely probably experiencing today
as you sort through emails & sit in staff meetings,
I'm taking you on a quick trip to the French countryside.
Let's draw out this return to reality for as long as possible, shall we?
I leave you with an awkward series of Tyler being ridiculous. Look at that grab in the second picture. |
Though there is one really good aspect
to coming back to work after a long weekend....
Friday is just four days away!

Beautiful pictures! Those flowers are gorgeous. Already counting down to the weekend, and it's not even noon yet here.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos! And some of us still have summer break- the benefit of being a teacher! I get to laugh at all of you for two months of my year :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I love returning "home" any time, not just after a long weekend, so thank you for these. Great shots of the bright yellow colza fields! Have a wonderful week! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing, because yes, these long weekends are great, but such a tease! Thank goodness it's only a four-day work week though. Have a good one!
ReplyDeleteOh man, if I could live ANYWHERE in France it would definitely be in the countryside. These photos are gorgeous! Well, the hand grab is a little intense... AK goes pg-13!
ReplyDeleteHaha, the "butt grab" was the first thing I noticed in that pic- ouch! I just love the fields of rapeseed- I swear 1/2 of North Yorkshire is covered in it, and the giant swaths of yellow are so beautiful! Love the pics!
