San Francisco Treats...

After two weeks in New York,
I'm headed in the opposite direction.
I'm headed to San Francisco today!

It's a quick jaunt,
but here's the short list of what I'll be up to
in one of the world's most iconic cities...

The perfectly chic place
to rest my pretty little head.

Lunch with a View
at The Rotunda at Neiman Marcus
over Union Square.

It will be my maiden voyage
to the famed Creme Brulee Cart...
and I kind of can't wait!

Wine country in May?
No words. Just bliss.

And yes, I will be imagining that I am in
my favorite college movie,
the entire time I'm there.

One thing this list is missing is
a great place for breakfast.
Suggestions, please!!!

Down the rabbits hole... and into my cupboard

As we all know,
I love England.

So it will come as no surprise
to hear that
I love the story of

since as we also know that
Lewis Carroll was a student at Oxford
when he wrote the tale
inspired by the daughter of the dean
at Christ Church College.

(We do all know that, right?....)

Fortunately,
you don't have to have a masters in Brit Lit
to fall
deeper & deeper
in love with this collection
of dinnerware from

(Disclaimer: I do not have a masters in British Literature, but boy- I wish I did.)

Girls Gone Wild... (well, sort of)

On a completely unrelated note...

this is what happens

when a blonde & a brunette

get their hands on tiaras.

They act like total dorks.

Ahh... but it's just so fun.

Get Stacked...

Lately, I've been noticing diamonds.

Everywhere I turn,
it's one carat after the other.

It's got me thinking...
maybe this is my right hand
sending subconscious
signals to my brain.

Right Hand: "I'm lonely!"
Signals that urge
for a custom stack of rings
from Tiffany
to reside upon my finger.

While I may have the most charming & generous husband
a girl could ever imagine,
I'm afraid that the closest I am getting to my own stack...

...are the pancakes I have slated to make for brunch on Saturday.

Any luckier ladies out there?
I'm open to feeling very envious...

Shake what your mama gave ya....

Tonight I got to spend the evening
with my life long friend- Victoria.

Victoria is an amazing photographer
&
(yet somehow through all those cheeseburgers,
she maintains a rockin figure.)

Tonight, we dined at the Shake Shack-
and I must say
it was TASTY!

So head on down, wait in line-
and order yourself a full box of goodies.

And don't go without ordering this weeks shake:

"The Standing Order"
vanilla custard, orange poppy seed caramel, and strawberries.

It could change your life.

Happy Birthday... a vous!

Happy Birthday
Miss Sofia Coppola!

In honor of your birthday,
here are some pretty things
(inspired by you)
I would like to give... myself!

Gold Lambskin Clutch, $1450.00

3 interior pockets for credit cards +
2 category pockets =
1 Clutch that
j'adore!

French Macaroons, assorted
from

Iconic NYC Style- Plaza & Paltrow

I'm having a moment.

In fact, I'm having several days of them.

This week,
Heather & I are being pampered
beyond imagination
in a gorgeous suite at the Plaza.

Fabulous hotel rooms
have quite a
bewitching effect over me.

I can't really describe it-
but something about
Italian linens and marble soaking tubs...

leaves me feeling...
so very Gwenyth.

(and if you don't read her newsletter-
you absolutely should!)

What's your favorite hotel in Manhattan?

Is there any special place you call "home"
when you are in the city?

Remind me, again...

... why I didn't pack my rain boots?

Deep regret.

Nobody makes wellies like Burberry...

okay, actually they do.

I just think Burberry makes them cuter.
