Mama Mia...

Right now,

Mr. & Mrs. Aspiring Kennedy 

are blissfully happy

living the DINK life.

{DINK = Duel Income/ No Kids}

There's not much you could do 

to convince us to give up 

vacations, sleeping in, &
our beloved white {fabric} couches.

It's just a really nice time in our lives.

BUT-

 as every single one of my friends are pregnant,

I am getting full exposure to baby gear...

{isn't my friend, Kellee, a cute pregnant mama?}

...And these are a few items that could get me to

change my mind,

throw out the pill, 

and have a darling baby,

  but only if it's a girl, of my own.

This Marc Jacobs Swimsuit is adorable.

A baby grand piano?

Naturally.

{I have high hopes for my child's future with Juilliard.}

Why, of course,

 Baby Kennedy 

will have this miniature Eames chair in their nursery!

I am Aspiring Kennedy's interior designer and friend, Beth Dotolo! As she travels the globe and dreams of her vacation homes here and there I'm given the task of designing her amazing destination abodes.

And, because Aspiring Kennedy is still... well... aspiring, I get paid in peanuts.

Since Aspiring Kennedy just traveled to Palm Beach for the 4th of July holiday, I thought I'd help her design her dream vacation home... I'm thinking...

Extended Vacation...

If someone would have thrown me

a welcome home party...

it might have made the transition

from Palm Beach back to reality

a bit easier.

It's harsh downshift

to find myself at the studio

after such a wonderful week of...

loving...

eating amazing food...

soaking up sunshine...

staying in a palacial hotel...

& treating myself to whatever I wanted.

{Yes, that meant lots of ice cream!}

However, I'm excited to announce that tomorrow

the talented Beth Dotolo

of Hello, Splendor/ Nest Dallas Design

will be helping us

bring home the vacation setting

with her Souvenir Styling piece.

In a new feature, Beth will be using

inspiration of my travel destinations

and translating them into a home setting

so that we can bring the looks

of our favorite places

home with us.

With a late summer schedule including

Norway, Spain, Portugal, Scotland, Ireland, the French Riveira,

Malibu, & England...

We are all in for a treat!

Sweet Land of Liberty....
