When I was little, I loved me some potty humor.
In fact, so much so
that I named my hamster "Toot"
when I was three years old.
I still giggle when I think about it.
That, my friends, is humor at it's finest.
Joking about farting, peeing, burping...
it's all pretty hilarious.
But in real life,
eh... not so much.
I know a lot of couples think farting around each other is funny...
but I'm not that cool.
The concept of breathing in someone else's poop particles
is rather alarming to me
and turns me into a bit of a nose-up prude.
But there's a new sheriff in town.
One who cares nothing
for my rules and environmental preferences
and who works them out
without a care in the world.
And I, ashamedly, find it completely hilarious.
Yes, this was an entire blog
centered on baby farts.
We can go back to talking about
other important topics like Mediterranean beaches,
cute summer sandals & fancy cakes tomorrow.

This was a prefect way to start my morning..hilarious and precious all at once.
ReplyDeleteYou'll get a kick out of this one. My son when he was little and would let one out....he would say "Excuse me - that was a burp from my bottom~" Out of the mouths of babes. You think your daughter is funny now, just you wait until she begins to speak from the other end....of her lovely lips!

ReplyDeleteHA! that is way too funny! I definitely am like you and don't really "get" how some people find that funny as adults. But whenever a kid does it, I can't stop laughing. Maybe because I think it's ok for them to do it? I don't know. The last picture cracks me up!

the 4th picture is priceless ... Viola looks like she even surprised herself a bit! Just don’t show these pictures to her future boyfriend/husband, that way she can keep him thinking that ladies never do these unmentionable things. It’s just a guy thing! (that is what my best friend in college tried to convince all of our guy friends)
ReplyDeleteI should NOT read your blog while drinking tea - it nearly ended up on my monitor this morning when I read this post. Such funny, funny pics!
ReplyDeleteThis is the absolute perfect end to my day!

Love,
Manda from Eat Cake
I laughed out loud, your little baby is so funny . Love her faces!!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I love this! I went to a women's bible study breakfast when my little guy was about 2 months old. He stayed in the meeting with me since he was so little (the majority of the other kiddos were in the nursery). Right after a very moving and emotional testimony was given by the speaker, she asked us to bow our heads in prayer --- during the complete silence in a room of about 60-70 women, my little guy ripped the loudest fart he had ever mustered up. Everyone busted out laughing. I was a bit embarrassed, but it was too funny. My husband was very impressed with little guy's timing. These little people are endless entertainment. XO, Chels
ReplyDeleteSHE HAS THE MOST EXPRESSIVE FACE I'VE EVER SEEN. It's precious. She's going to grow up to be just as funny as her Mama.
