Look who got their new spring stationery from Bell'Invito today.

Letterpress, silk screen liners, and Italian cotton paper. Mmm...

Isn't beautiful paper is one of life's best indulgences?

Write Often, mes amis!

Don Carney for West Elm

I got a West Elm e-mail blast today,

and it made me so happy!

Hot damn.

The pieces are incredibly designed and priced to thrill!

(Which was a suggestion made over margaritas.
Does that make me famous?)

And guess what the price is: $34.00...
with free shipping.
I die.

Heather and I have been long-time fans of his original artwork,

and Patch NYC remains a favorite of our Nest shoppers...

Cheers to our friend,

We can't wait to celebrate over some margaritas & cupcakes!

Botticelli's Primavera

(Indulge yourself in a bit of culture
by learning a bit about one of my favorite artists here)

Nothing like an amazing give-away to make this Friday a "Good Friday."
(Sorry. You know I can't resist a pun.)

You should look at what Not Your Average Ordinary & Slipcover Your Life are offering to one lucky reader. Your choice of one of these handmade pieces.

In my opinion,

You should definitely check it out...

Seriously, go.

I adore Cymbidium Orchids.

Recently for a dinner party, I asked my friend Robyn to help.

Robyn is the owner of Cymbidium Flowers (ironic?).
She is also very pretty.

Can you believe how stunning the table was after she worked her magic?

And guess what the party favors were?

Gorgeous potted cymbidium orchids for each guest!

Isn't she brilliant?

Check out Robyn & Rachael Wise at Cymbidium.
They are an incredibly talented duo.

I'm completely spoiled by getting to work with such beautiful paper,
and sometimes,
I'm afraid,
I stop noticing how pretty it really is.

Today I stopped to notice, however.

How could I not?
Look at this beautiful wedding invitation.

I can't describe the feeling of months of work being "birthed" into something so beautiful.

And the best part: she cried (with joy!) when she saw them.

I think I should celebrate with some champagne to a job well done!

I love Fabian Foo's sepia scenes from Europe.

So many quiet perfect moments captured behind the lens.

They almost make me feel like I am walking the streets of Barcelona...

... or taking in the Parisian city scape atop Monte Marte...

... or perhaps that I have decided to weekend in Provence...

...he even transports me to lustful escapades of days gone by....

Moment of truth: how many of us have shown Europe a little too much skin?
I have had my "riviera inspired" summer wardrobes from college days.
Oh, our mothers would die!

(Thanks for the quick get away, Fabian.)
