Let me share a secret with you:
{it's not a very dirty one, but none the less, a good one...}

Books make the greatest gifts.
$40 will buy me a gorgeous book
on any subject
that might catch the recipient's fancy...
from Italian fashion houses
to iconic roadsters
from men's watches
to modern boutique hotels...
I can buy the same thing for everyone-
on a topic that is individually specific.
My favorite place to grab a book is
{Nest always has great on-line deals! I love to shop their site.}
So if it was your birthday,
and I'm picking a book for you-
what dream topic would be bound inside?
{I'd be hoping for a thicky, glossy book of
George Clooney
lounging in linen
around his
Lake Como Villa.}
I agree! A beautiful book has the power transport the viewer to an entirely different time and place- all without the cost of a plane ticket!
ReplyDeleteI'm big on giving books as gifts - perhaps because I love receiving them as well!
ReplyDeleteI love books as gifts as well. I just bought myself a little gift yesterday...Entre Nous. I'm just loving it :)
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend!
Absolutely. Books are one of my favorite gifts to give and receive. I'm thrilled with anything with beautiful photos and preferable on tablescapes, interior design or fashion!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat selection, I love collecting pretty books!
ReplyDeleteI like the first one's cover! Uhmmm the bikini book? That's weird!

I agree with Anna - Kate Moss looks amazing on that cover. The last book I bought is rather dreamy (I find). It is called Information is Beautiful by David McCandless. Check it out! I'm sure you'll like it.
ReplyDeleteI have a motto, never say no to books.
