Back at You.

Yesterday was one of those days
when blogging is so rewarding.

I got so many kind words of encouragement
for my niece,
and I have to tell you:

bloggers are awesome.

I first got a glimpse of your kindness during Well: Done,
and yesterday, I was reminded of
how lucky I am to be a part of this community.

THANK YOU!

The surgery went better than we could have hoped,
and the little lady seems to be recovering well.

I saw this today,
and it made me think of all of you.

This little blog land we are in
really is chocked full of
the most creative, courteous, and supportive people.

I'm so glad to have you be a part of my every day life!

  8. That's what I get for missing a day of your blog. Well prayers for recovery aren't a one-day thing, so this little one will have many more spirit sprinkles sent her way!

Thank you for posting that wonderful saying by Plato! What a difference it would make if everyone would act on those words.

So happy the little lady is doing well. I know this is so stressful on your sister...sending her good thoughts to help her carry on!

And in reply to your comment-- I tried to comment back but it was no-reply.

Yes our ice cream was from braums! So good!

And oh my gosh we were in Edmond! My parents live there.. I only lived there a year but it really is a beautiful little area. I really enjoy visiting. Can't believe he lived there!

  16. I so hope your adorable niece is progressing well after her surgery. My son has been going through some physical issues too and I so agree that the blog community is an exceptional support system.
Your quote by Plato struck a note in me so I hope you don't mind if I share it on my blog too.
    Best,

  17. I'm so glad that your niece is doing well. My cousin actually has spina bifida. She's several years older than me, so I don't know much about her treatment when she was young, but I do know it's been a struggle. However, she is doing so well now - she just gave birth to twins, a boy and girl, who are her third and fourth children. She and everyone in her family is happy and healthy. I will for sure keep your niece and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
