A Pretty, Pretty Plea

We all know the legendary glory
of April in Paris....

And who wouldn't want to see
the Alps adorned in springtime flowers...

but I'd like to bring forth
the unsung hero, England.

Gray, dark, and dismal England
has shed her winter coat,
and is revealing herself to be quite a stunner.

Seriously...

isn't this place a dream?

I'm even smitten with the cheerful moss on my building.

  5. I agree! I am headed to England for a walking holiday along the Dorset coast and then a week in my beloved London-- I'll be there in two weeks and I can't wait! Spring is not coming to Canada this year, it seems, so I can't wait to get to "England's green and pleasant land"!

  13. These are lovely! One of my favorite memories of our European adventure was walking through the parks in London and sitting underneath the fully bloomed willow trees. Doesn't spring make you want to grab a good book and sit underneath a willow tree??
