Farewell, 2011.

Some years you gladly wave goodbye...
and others are just really good.

2011, for the two of us,
will go down in the books as a really good one.

We have enjoyed the carefree days...
as we know the tides can turn quickly!

From start to finish,
this past year has been full of adventure.

The days were stacked with constant change...

{from new cities & new jobs}

the weeks have been peppered
with the faces of so many people we love...

{friends & family have spoiled us by visiting}

and the months have been comprised of
revolving settings & friends.

{honestly, will I ever travel that much again?}

For the sake of posterity,
here are the highlights of my 2011.

I may say it often
-but I hope you know it's true-
I love having you along for the ride!

If 2011 has been a rough year for,
I wish you happiness
and the luxury of a carefree heart
for the new year.

Lots of love...

  1. Happy New Year to you! Unfortunately, from January 1 on, 2011 wasn't my year, so I have great hopes for the new one.

    Curious if your first comment about "being carefree" might mean what I think it does...

    Regardless, hope it's a lovely New Year's Day for you. :)
